In 1987, Consuelo Castilla founded AdQualis and brought to Spain a profession that barely existed here: the direct search for executives. Almost four decades later, we remain an independent, family-owned firm with three divisions, our own teams in Barcelona and Madrid and a reach spanning more than 20 countries.

- 1987
Consuelo Castilla founds MC Asociados (now AdQualis Executive Search)
AdQualis began operating in 1987 under the name MC Asociados, offering exclusively differentiated headhunting services beyond conventional recruitment, at a time when this activity was entirely pioneering in Spain. Consuelo Castilla embarked on this business model by following best practices from leading consultancies in Europe and the United States, seeking innovation and the highest efficiency in the service offered to client companies. Today, the division providing this solution, with a global vision and operating worldwide, is AdQualis Executive.

Centil 90 is founded (now AdQualis Talent Search)
Centil 90 - now AdQualis Talent Search - was founded in 1992 as a division specialising in the recruitment and selection of middle-management and specialist positions, high-volume searches for sales networks and newly created functions, and graduate programmes. More recently, the division has expanded into technology and digital profiles. Flexibility, efficiency and speed are essential across all its processes.

Consultancy is founded to support companies with strategic HR and talent projects
Consultoría MC, Organisational and People Development, was founded in 1996. Today it is AdQualis HR Consultancy, offering solutions in strategy, organisational development and people performance within their organisations.
- 1999
The AQ Awards are born, AdQualis' talent awards
The AQ Awards were established in 1999 to highlight the most innovative and valuable practices in human resources management and recognise the work and careers of the executives and professionals who champion them. Each year, once all nominations have been received, a jury made up of the previous edition's winners reviews the anonymised CVs, careers and projects of the candidates and decides the winners.

Corporate rebranding: AdQualis Human Results Group is born
The AdQualis Human Results brand is born. The MC Group - comprising MC Asociados, Centil 90, MC Consultoría and Integrho - comes together under a single brand to strengthen its international positioning and its vision of offering comprehensive, specialised services to People departments and senior management teams in companies across every industry.
